However, these cigarettes stopped to be on offer in the USA in mid 2003. The cigarettes are not to blame for that. And the quality of cigarettes had nothing to do with it either. The cigarettes were put under a ban (and not some specific brands but all the brands).
The same ban was imposed in France few years later. That time, there was written a new slogan on cigarettes package "Liberte Toujours" (Freedom Always). It sounded ironic because the authorities did an absolutely different thing. There was no freedom but a direct move against it.
