Camel Cigarettes Online
Camel cigarettes are originally American cigarettes, introduced by US company R.J. Reynolds Tobacco (RJR) in 1913. Their taste was and is still milder than of the other brands.
The manufacturers of the brand made the public ready for this new brand of cigarettes selling. A careful but continuous advertising campaign "The Camel cigarettes are coming" was released. As one says: "the appetite comes with eating". Ordinary people were provoked to have a craving for smoking the given brand.
The special slogan, which sounded "I'd walk a mile for a Camel!" was of great help. It was an eye-catching and intriguing phrase. It gave to understand that Camel was such a good brand that if needed one would cover a great distance but find and purchase it. Moreover, the brand invited many celebrities, such as news broadcaster Edward R. Murrow. The broadcaster smoked up to four packs of Camel cigarettes. He made the ordinary public follow his example.
Such cartoon character as Joe Camel was created. He was a real mascot for the brand. Many magazines and newspapers declared that small children recognized this figure better than Mickey Mouse or even Barby and etc. There is a simple explanation for it: a poster of Joe Camel, hanging on the wall.
However, this campaign (one honestly call Joe Camel the first and significant part of advertising campaign) was over on July 10, 1997. There was high time to appeal to adults. For women it meant to look gorgeous and sexy, for men-manliness and bravery.
In 2005, Camel Cigarettes added new changes to the Camel flavors. It was added the name on the discount cheap cigarettes paper. The filter color and design underwent some changes. There is a blend called "Turkish Silver" on offer. When smoking, one can clearly see the text on the paper on the ashes.
